This policy explains when Future18 Digital LLP (“Future18”, “we”) refunds payments for its services and how cancellations work. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in it limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that cannot be waived.
1. The short version
- Services are prepaid for the period you choose (monthly, yearly or 3 years) and, once delivered, are not refundable for the period already started.
- You get a full refund if we cannot deliver what you ordered, if you cancel before we start setting it up, or if you paid twice by mistake.
- If we end a service early without a breach on your side, we refund the unused prepaid part.
- Domain registrations, renewals and transfers are not refundable once submitted to the registry.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
2. When we give a full refund
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| We cannot set up the server, plan or location you ordered (for example no capacity), and you do not accept an alternative | Full refund of that item |
| You cancel an order before we start provisioning it (tell us by email or WhatsApp from your account’s contact details) | Full refund of that item |
| A duplicate payment, or a payment higher than the invoice | The duplicate or excess amount |
| A domain could not be registered or transferred (for example it was taken first, or the registry refused the transfer) | Full refund of that domain item, or credit if you prefer |
| We end a service early for reasons that are not a breach of our terms by you | The unused prepaid part of the current period |
3. What is not refundable
- VPS and dedicated servers, and any service, for a billing period that has started after the service was delivered.
- Domain registrations, renewals and transfers once submitted to the registry, and domain restore (redemption) fees.
- Set-up fees, licences or third-party products bought for you on request, once ordered.
- Services suspended or terminated because of a breach of our Terms and Conditions or Acceptable Use rules (for example spam, malware, fraud or abuse).
- Taxes already paid to the government on an invoice, except where the law lets us adjust them with a credit note.
4. Cancelling a service
You can stop a service from renewing at any time by switching off automatic renewal in your client panel or by asking us. The service then runs until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed. To cancel a service right away, ask us; the remaining period is not refunded except as listed in section 2.
Before a server is removed, download any data you want to keep. Once the service ends, its data is deleted and cannot be recovered.
5. Account credit instead of a refund
Where a refund is due, you may ask for it as credit on your Future18 account instead, to use for any other service. Credit is not transferable to another customer and cannot be exchanged for cash later.
6. How to ask for a refund
- Write to support@future18.com from the email address of your account, or message us on WhatsApp, with the invoice number and the reason.
- We reply within 2 business days and tell you whether the refund is approved and how much it is.
- Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking or wallet) within 7–10 business days; the time your bank takes to show it is outside our control. Where GST was charged, we issue a credit note.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank — most issues are solved quickly. If a chargeback is raised for a payment that is not refundable under this policy, we may suspend the related services until it is resolved.
8. Grievances and contact
If you are not satisfied with how a refund was handled, contact our Grievance Officer at legal@future18.com or by post at Future18 Digital LLP, 116/5, Deewan Tower, Near Kubera Hotel, Vasai Station Road, Vasai Road West, Maharashtra 401202, India. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month.
We may update this policy. The version in force on the date of your payment applies to that payment.
