Domain transfer

Bring your domains home to Future18.

One panel for your domains, servers and mail — and one invoice.

Three steps

How a transfer works

1

Unlock it

Turn off the domain lock at your current registrar and ask for the transfer (EPP) code.

2

Check out

Add the domain here, enter the code at checkout and pay the transfer fee (usually includes a year).

3

Approve

Confirm the email from the registry if asked. We take care of the rest and let you know when it is done.

Transfer questions

Something else on your mind? Write to us on WhatsApp or by email — a person answers, with the AI Agent’s notes at hand.

What do I need to transfer my domain?

The domain must be unlocked at your current registrar and at least 60 days old, and you need its transfer code (also called EPP or auth code). You enter the code at checkout; it is sent securely and never stored in your browser.

Will my website or email stop during the transfer?

No. The transfer moves the registration, not your DNS. Keep your current nameservers until the transfer completes, then switch whenever you are ready.

How long does a transfer take?

Usually five to seven days, depending on the extension and how quickly the current registrar releases it. We email you when it completes.

Do I lose the time I already paid for?

Most extensions add one year to the remaining registration when transferred, so you keep the days you paid for.
