Is nodXray included?
Yes, for every website running on a Future18 server. nodXray is part of Future18; you pay for the hosting, not for the builder.
Can I move my WordPress site to nodXray?
Yes. nodXray imports a WordPress export (WXR) file with posts, pages, products, legacy WooCommerce orders, authors, categories, Yoast SEO data and images (converted to WebP). A dry run first shows exactly what will be imported, and duplicates are tracked so you can import again safely.
Will my WordPress plugins and themes work?
No — nodXray is built on Node.js and does not run PHP themes or plugins. It includes natively what most sites add plugins for: page builder, store, SEO, forms and leads, backups, two-factor sign-in and security. Data kept in plugin-specific tables may need a separate migration; we help you check before you switch.
Which AI does the site generator use?
You can connect OpenAI, Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude with your own key; nodXray switches to another provider automatically if one fails. A reference website is used only for layout and colour ideas — content is never copied — and every generated page is an editable draft you review before publishing.
Which payments and shipping does the store support?
Hosted Stripe checkout (signed, replay-protected webhooks), cash on delivery and manual payments; manual shipping or live tracking through Shippo and EasyPost; coupons, wishlists, enquiries, PDF invoices and GST reporting.
How are backups handled?
Nightly restore points of the whole site are kept for 30 days and can be restored by date; encrypted database backups can be downloaded, and copies can go off-site to S3 storage or WhatsApp.
Can I still run WordPress on Future18?
Of course. Your VPS or dedicated server runs WordPress, PHP and anything else you like. nodXray is an extra option, included.
Does nodXray work outside Future18?
nodXray is licensed to run on Future18 servers. If you leave, you can export your content in an open format.
